Violone bows can be quite different in length and in weight. Coming from the viol we could tend to chose a longer bow with not too much weight, where coming from the double bass we could tend to chose a shorter, maybe heavier, bow, also depending on the instrument we play: a Violone in G or big brother in D.
Acacia wood makes thick gut strings sound easily, Service wood provides a more noble sound. Don’t hesitate to ask for the dimensions you would like to have.
